Living a Pirate's Life

Pirate's Cove and Mermaid Lagoon at Relay 4 Life Add Video

Saving lives from cancer starts one crew, one pod, one pirate, one mermaid and one doubloon at a time. Our pirate crew and mermaid pod took to the track to help fight cancer and bring hope on August 11th at Relay for Life at Portland Christian School. The MacKay Pirate Family & Foster Photo Graphix hosted a booth called "Pirates Cove & Mermaid Lagoon." Patrons were entertained with magical face painting, pirate & mermaid related kid games, mermaid story time and everyone was encouraged to take photographs with the pirates & mermaids against the beautiful tropical background and whimsical pirate and mermaid decor. All proceeds from this event went to the fight against cancer. The MacKay's and Foster's were joined by: The Rogue Mermaids, The Northwest Mermaid Pod and many fine Scalawags. Mermaids and Pirates took turns working in the booth and walking the track. The MacKay's, Foster's and their mates will continue to help fight the fight in September with Team Josh the Wonder for DragonSlayer (walking against Sarcoma) and again in October at Booty for Boobies please join them. The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone! Not all treasure is silver and gold Matey...
